Anse Royale is located on the south-east coast of the island and is the most popular beaches on Mahé. The beach lies just next to the small town that shares the same name and serves various facilities for the visitors.

People find accommodations like a petrol pump, hospital, banks, and the Seychelles university and many more.

It is a long stretch bay that comprises of many small beach sections. The beach is ideally suited for swimming as it just 2 to 3 meters deep people enjoy swimming, snorkeling, perfect for windsurfing, mainly when the trade winds blow in the summer.

Despite the good atmosphere, there is a village near the beach that contains a number of restaurants and shops for the guest to enjoy their whole at the beach.
