Petite Police
Petite Police, located on the southernmost tip of the largest island Mahé, just along the coast from its larger sister Police Bay. Lined with old coral formations that cover the sand making a unique sight. The coral reef here on the beach is quite sharp and the water is so deep, making the beach unsafe for the children and swimming.
Because of this, the Petite Police remains often empty. People who want to clear their hand at fishing enjoy here and photography lovers love the place due to its unrealistic scenery formation.
Although, the beach itself is unsuitable for any activities and getting into the water is basically too dangerous, because of the sharp coral reef.
Occasionally the beach is calm and at that time exploring the underwater scenery is worth visiting by snorkeling. But, most of the time it is simply a beach for scenery, including the old coral and the small pools that appear on the beach creating an attractive sight.
The unique scenery at the Petite Police provides a great contrast, spending long holidays in the country. Despite this, few hotels are there within walking distance, but very few visitors come at the beach.
Getting to the Petite Police is very easy as there is parking available at the beach and also Anse Bazarca bus stop is nearby just along the coast.
