Anse Barbarons
Anse Barbarons is a curved bay on the west coast of the Seychelles largest island Mahé. It is located at the short distance along the coast from Grand Anse and right to the AVANI Barbarons Resort and Spa.
In respect to the visitors, the beach is generally explored by the guest of the nearby hotels and may find locals sometimes.
The depth of the water changes according to tide like- during high tide the conditions are well suited for swimming and snorkeling, but at the time of low tide the water gets shallow making condition perfect to swim for the children and less confident swimmers.
Once the visitors get on the beach, they will find their space on a beautiful white sandy beach. People enjoy swimming, snorkeling, relaxing under the shade of the lined palm trees and the time of low tide, a lot of space for sunbathing.
Getting to the Anse Barbarons is very easy, thanks to the nearby road and the parking space for the rental car, that is available at the resort.
The water depth is nearly 2 meters on the day time and the beach never disappears beneath the waves. People can find something to enjoy the day no matter when they visit. And the nearby resort and two restaurants ensure more facilities for a longer visit.

How to Reach
By Air
Fly into Mahé International Airport, then take a taxi or bus (approx. 45 mins to the beach). For a luxurious experience, consider helicopter tours that offer stunning views and a dramatic landing nearby.
By Road
Drive from Victoria (30 mins) or Glacis (15 mins). Follow signs for “Beau Vallon” and then “Anse Barbarons.” Ample parking is available near the beach and resorts.
By Boat
Limited boat access is available. Consider private charters from Beau Vallon or nearby coves. For an adventurous arrival, you can kayak or paddleboard from surrounding beaches.
