Anse Boudin

Anse Boudin is an interesting beach located in the northwest of Seychelles second largest island Praslin. Beautiful, pristine sand and water with excellent offerings to its visitors, looking out over the ocean to Curieuse Island.

The water is extremely shallow here during low tide, but it quickly gets deepen away as go further. The beach offers several activities to its visitors like- fishing, swimming, and snorkeling.

It is well suited for families and swimming is safe even for children, but parents should be careful because the water gets deepen quickly.

The Anse Boudin is less visited by the people and the interesting thing about this little bay is that fishermen often leaves their boat harbored in the shallow water.

Locals can also be noticed here playing football on the beach on weekends, which is worth seeing for sports lovers. There are some small shops and fruit bars with some restaurants as well, nearby it.

On the other hand, getting to the beach is also very simple, the road is nearby the beach along with a space for parking. Moreover, visitors can also come on foot, those who live in nearby accommodations.

With a good mix of facilities, locality and beautiful scenery, the place is worth visiting. Its awesome backdrop-off is perfect for photography.

How to Reach Anse Boudin

Anse Boudin and Anse Barbarons are relatively close, with a leisurely walk along the scenic coast taking approximately 30 minutes. You can also drive in about 10 minutes.

By Air

Fisrt Fly to international airport on Mahe then fly into Praslin Airport (taxi/bus 30 mins to Baie Ste Anne, then short walk/drive to beach). Helicopter tours offer breathtaking views and a dramatic landing nearby.

By Road

Easiest option: Follow signs for “Curieuse Island” from Baie Ste Anne (15-20 mins). Ample parking near the beach and resorts. Public buses operate on the main road near the beach.

By Boat

Ferry directly from Curieuse Island (short, exciting ride across turquoise waters). Consider private charters from Grand Anse or Côte d’Or jetty for a scenic arrival.
