Anse Forbans

Anse Forbans, located in the southeast just along the coast of Turtle Bay and Anse aux Pins. Small waves strike the bay and are protected from the open ocean by the coral reefs lined on the beach.

Shallow depth with a calm surface of the water makes the Anse Forbans an ideal beach for the family and children. During the high tide, most of the part of the beach generally gets disappear.

Mostly the beach is enjoyed by the locals who take their children for the picnic. Because of shallow water surface, the beach is ideal for swimming and even those who are not a very confident swimmer, snorkeling and relaxing under the shades.

Anse Forbans, also allow fishing for the visitors. Additionally, there are some guesthouses and hotels nearby and they are allowed to borrow snorkeling equipment. The beach itself is situated between a number of accommodations, the famous Hilton Allamanda Resort allows a large number of guests.

Anse Forbans is located on the southeastern coast of Mahé, making it easily accessible by car or public transport. The beach is well-connected by the island’s main coastal road, ensuring a smooth and scenic journey to this tranquil getaway.

By Air

Fly into Seychelles International Airport. You can take a taxi or bus to Victoria and then drive to Anse Forbans. Helicopter tours are available for a thrilling experience! Total travel time is estimated at 1-2 hours, depending on flights and transfers.

By Road

From Victoria, follow the signs towards Grand Anse. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Anse Forbans, where parking is available near the beach and resorts.

By Boat

Access by boat is limited due to shallow waters and nearby reefs. However, you can explore neighboring beaches by boat and walk to Anse Forbans for a combined adventure.
