Anse Kerlan
Anse Kerlan is a collection of smaller beaches which are separated by placing artificial rocks. Located in the north-west edge on the coastline of Praslin Island. The rocks that are placed, break the waters and are designed to slow down the erosion process that the area is affecting over the last few years.
Although the beach is protected by the offshore coral reefs, the water is still deep here and the waves might be strong, that means, it is unsafe for children. Though swimming and snorkeling can be done here, the currents are strong, so it is advised to be careful.
The beach often remains empty but is visited by the guest of the nearby hotels and guesthouses. People often find themselves alone here. It’s a beautiful beach, but less natural than the other beaches, because of the artificially rocky formation.
Getting to the beach of the nearby hotel’s guests is easy, but if anyone who stays elsewhere in Praslin, can visit by car. There is good parking space available on the road and nearby hotels too. Also, the surrounding areas are well equipped with a number of shops and restaurants.
The Anse Kerlan is a beautiful beach in Praslin, which is actually a collection of many small beaches. It serves many unique offers to make a worth visit here. The fallen trees on the sandy beach make an amazing scene for photographs.
