Shallow water and pleasant atmosphere make the beach perfect for snorkeling as well as swimming. There is plenty of shade which provides protection from the tropical sun of Seychelles. As it is surrounded by the busier location of this largest island, that’s the reason it often remains empty.
However, getting to the beach can be fairly difficult, as a small road passes by the beach but there is no parking nearby. Despite the beach is very narrow with a few passing points for vehicles, this ensures that coming by car can be tricky, so it is easier to access the beach on foot itself.
With very few visitors, making a perfect place for couples to spend their time together or looking a quiet spot for a picnic to enjoy. While, once people get there, the beach welcomes with the beautiful trees, gorgeous golden sand, stunning rock formations along with a view of a nearby island.

How to Reach Anse l’Amour
Anse l’Amour is located on Mahé Island and is easily accessible by car or taxi. Public buses also run nearby, but a short walk may be required to reach the beach. The journey offers scenic coastal views, making the trip as enjoyable as the destination.
Touch down at Seychelles International Airport and rent a car for a scenic 45-minute drive through Mahé’s lush landscape.
Follow signs south from Victoria towards Baie Lazare. Turn right at the Port Launay turnoff and continue for about 3km until you reach a small parking area near the beach.
While direct boat access to Anse l’Amour is not readily available, consider boat tours from nearby areas like Baie Lazare or Port Glaud.
