Other than this the beach is good for snorkelling, to explore the beautiful underwater scenery. However, the water is deep here, so it is not safe for swimming to anyone, not even the confident swimmers.

Getting to the Anse Songe is easy from Grand Anse and it just takes only 15 minutes to reach. Well, it is also possible to come by car, as the parking is available at Grand Anse. Although, a beautiful and pleasant 15 minutes walk would be enough to one of the beautiful beaches on La Digue.

The beach comprises of rocks, coral, beautiful and pristine sand and the offshore island ensuring a perfect location for photographers. Despite, people may find the remains of a house that are covered with leaves along with a small water pond filled with lilies.

Well, there is nothing much to do at the beach, rather go snorkelling, be careful of deep water at some places. Ample shade from the tree line on the beach provides protection from the sun. It is worth visiting the Anse Songe for its scenery.
