Anse Songe, a tiny wild beach located in the south part of La Digue, situated to Grand Anse. Generally, the beach remains empty all the time because there is nothing to draw the visitors to the beach. The attractive thing about the beach is its scenic view, which is just breathtaking.
Other than this the beach is good for snorkelling, to explore the beautiful underwater scenery. However, the water is deep here, so it is not safe for swimming to anyone, not even the confident swimmers.
Getting to the Anse Songe is easy from Grand Anse and it just takes only 15 minutes to reach. Well, it is also possible to come by car, as the parking is available at Grand Anse. Although, a beautiful and pleasant 15 minutes walk would be enough to one of the beautiful beaches on La Digue.
