Though you can visit the Anse Takamaka throughout the year, for enjoying special activities, there is a specific time.
For the bird watchers, the place is like heaven. During April, it is the breeding season for the birds. Between May to September it’s a time for nesting of Sooty Terns. The month of October witnessed the migratory birds which make an amazing view.
For the diving purpose, the best time to visit the Seychelles island between March to May and September to November.
Between the months of October to April, is perfect for fishing.
From June to September, the beach witnessed seaweeds.
From May to September, the months are favorable for surfing in the ocean.

How to Reach



By Air

Fly to Seychelles International Airport on Mahé Island. From there, take a taxi to the beach.



By Road

The easiest way is to rent a car and drive from Victoria, the capital of Mahé Island. The scenic drive takes about 30 minutes.



By Boat

Take a ferry from Praslin Island or La Digue Island to Mahé. After arriving, you can take a taxi or rent a car to get to Anse Takamaka. Private boat hire is also an option.
