Grand Anse
Grand Anse is situated on La Digue, lies on the western coast of the larger island of Mahé, and there are very few visitors to visit the beach.
Well, the beach offers very few activities like you can either surf in the ocean or can relax on the white sand enjoying sunbathing.
It is a wild beach and water is very deep here to swim, also the beach is not protected by the coral reef so strong currents occur which is good for surfing but not for swimming. During the south-east trade winds, the water becomes choppy.
The beach is a good location for the photography with pristine golden white sand, gorgeous scenery along with beautiful clear water. Additionally, there is a restaurant and WCs, that means visitors can spend their whole afternoon.
Most of the visitors refer to come by bike, but it can also be accessed by car or bus. For a rental car, there is small parking, but it is rarely used due to the lack of vehicles on La Digue.
As the Grand Anse is titled as the wild beach that means it is less busy as compared to the other beaches. But still, the gorgeous beauty and a wonderful sandy surface together make it a worth to visit.
Best Time To Visit

- Visitors are only allowed to surf here or visit here for sunbathing. There are very fewer places for shades so can’t visit with the family.
