Petite Anse
Petite Anse located in the southeast of La Digue, next to the Grand Anse. The two beaches share many characteristics together like the deep water, natural surrounding, and anonymity. The beach is less busy with very few visitors, but making the great spot of enjoying picnics or sunbathing.
There is a lack of coral reef protection from the open ocean so the surface is rough and unsafe for swimming. Although people can try surfing, as the condition becomes perfect. Thanks to the ample of shade available to enjoy the beach relaxing protecting self from the sun.
Getting to the beach is easy via Grand Anse and also there is a short trek over a small hill which is just 15 minutes. However, accessing by bicycle and bike is also possible as there is parking available at the Grand Anse. Some problems can be faced while choosing a trek way because of less mobility, though most of the visitors don’t face problems.
Along with the natural shade, there are debris shelters too present that means that people and children shouldn’t have to stay in the sun for long they can go under when they feel so.

How to Reach Petite Anse
The easiest way to reach the beach is via Grand Anse or a trek over the hill, the walkabout just 15 minutes.
Touchdown at Praslin Island Airport (PRI) then catch a ferry from Praslin to La Digue. From L’Union jetty, grab a bike or hike to Grand Anse, then follow the trail to Petite Anse.
Lace up your walking shoes! Grab a map and embark on a scenic 15-20 minute hike from Grand Anse beach. Enjoy the views and feel the sense of discovery.
