Petite Anse Kerlan

Petite Anse Kerlan is a beautiful small beach, situated in the north-west of Praslin Island. The beach is a popular home to the famous resort named as Constance Lemuria, therefore it is often visited by the guests of this resort.

People can enjoy the scenic view of the larger Anse Kerlan along with the stunning Anse Georgette. Shallow and calm water makes the condition pleasant and safe for families and children. Little seaweed present on the surface, but during high tide it generally sometimes gets disappear.

Getting to the beach very simple, especially for patrons of the nearby resort. They can have a simple leisurely walk to the gorgeous Petite Anse Kerlan. For those who come from far, the car can be the easy way to reach here, parking is available at the entrance of the resort.

The small bay is excellent for swimming, whereas shallow and calm water makes the perfect condition to explore the underwater scenery and sailing.

While the resort contains the shop and a restaurant, that ensures a whole day enjoyment at the beautiful Petite Anse Kerlan. The beach surface also equipped with large rocks and the lines coconut trees for relaxing under the shade, careful from the falling coconut as it can be dangerous.

Take a long walk to the beautiful nearby beach, Anse Georgette, having jaw-dropping beauty and incredible scenery.  Petite Anse makes the visit worth, with the rental activities and the safe surroundings.

  • During April, it is the breeding season for the birds. The month of October witnessed the migratory birds which make an amazing view.
  • The best time to visit this place is in the months of October and May when the water surface is flat and is perfect for swimming as well as snorkeling.
  • There are little or no seaweed present on the water surface.
