Sunset Beach 

Sunset Beach is located on the west coast of the Seychelles largest island Mahé, near the northern tip of the island. It is also often busy little bay on Mahé.

It is often visited by the guests of the Sunset Beach hotel, situated near to the beach. The shallow water and the calm environment make the beach perfect for several activities like swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and kayaking.

Scenery present on the beach greets people with golden sand, clear, inviting water and the creative formation of the rocks as well as palm trees. Shallow water makes swimming possible for any kind of swimmers.

Getting to the beach is also very easy as the bay is located next to the coastal road. Bus stops nearby the beach, but unfortunately, there is no parking available next to the beach.

There is an old coral formation which combined together with the surrounding landscape that makes the Sunset beach a great scene for photographs too.

Visiting the little Sunset Beach is an excellent bay which comprises different features that will engage anyone to spend the whole day enjoying on the beach. Basically, the beach is often visited by the guests of the nearby hotel.

  • The best time to visit this place is in the months of October and May when the water surface is flat and is perfect for swimming as well as snorkeling.
